Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ) organized a city trip within the scope of the orientation programs organized by students who started their first year in the 2023-2024 academic year in order to accelerate their adaptation process.

Within the scope of the orientation programs organized to provide information about the opportunities offered on campus and the ancient city of Erzurum to the students who were placed in ETÜ through the Higher Education Selection Examination (YKS), a tour was organized to places that reflect the historical, cultural and touristic richness of the city.

In the tour program, the students were informed by Faculty of Letters, History Department Lecturer Prof. Dr. He was accompanied by Murat Küçükuğurlu and advisors.

In the program where cultural, historical and touristic places such as Erzurum Castle, Ulu Mosque, Double Minaret Madrasa, Three Tombs, Aziziye Bastions, Erzurum City Archive (ERŞA) and Erzurum Culture and Arts House were visited, Prof. Dr. Küçükuğurlu gave information to the students about these places. The group then went to Palandöken Ski Center and was informed by the authorities about the events held on the mountain throughout the year.
