Erzurum Technical University's (ETU) National Athlete Muhammed Ali Demirel qualified for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games to be held in France.

Muhammed Ali Demirel, a 2nd year student of ETU Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports, who entered the Olympic Ranking List prepared by the International Judo Federation (IJF), will represent our country at 66 kg at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games to be held in Paris, the capital of France.

Commenting on the subject, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak congratulated the National Athlete and said: "Muhammed Ali returned to our country with a silver medal from the Senior European Judo Championships held in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, last April and made us extremely happy. We have great expectations from him. Hopefully, he will represent our country in the best way in Paris and return with the gold medal. On this occasion, once again, I sincerely wish success to all our athletes who will compete in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games."
