Graduates of Erzurum Technical University (ETU) gathered once again at an event organised by the Career Planning Application and Research Centre (KARPAM).
The event, which discussed the student years of ETU graduates at the university and their post-graduation employment processes, was attended by ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, and Prof. Dr. Naim Ürkmez, along with Secretary General Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu, academics, and graduate students.
ETU graduates gathered at the lunch programme held at the Life Centre, sharing memories of their university days while relishing the excitement of meeting under the same roof after many years. The graduates experienced both emotional and enjoyable moments as they reminisced about the friendships they had formed during their student years.
Speaking at the event, Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak stated that reuniting with graduates was a great pleasure for them, saying:
“At ETU, we never sever ties with our graduates. Because we do not say goodbye to our students after they graduate; on the contrary, we follow their successes, support their development, and strive to make them feel that we are always by their side. Every individual who graduates from our university carries our university's vision and values wherever they go, contributing to society with their knowledge. The successes of our graduates working in different cities and sectors of our country fill us with pride. Their determination, diligence, and productivity contribute to ETU's steady progress."
The programme concluded with a tree-planting event held in memory of the graduates on the campus grounds after lunch.
