Associate Professor Harun Selvitopi, a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science at Erzurum Technical University (ETU), has been granted Full Membership status by Sigma Xi, one of the world's most prestigious scientific organizations, in recognition of his scientific studies, academic productivity, and original contributions to his field.

Founded in the United States in 1886, Sigma Xi operates as an international honor society that encourages interdisciplinary interaction and brings together distinguished researchers, scientists, and engineers. In addition to recognizing scientific achievements, the organization works toward developing a research culture, strengthening scientific cooperation, and increasing academic interaction.

Within the scope of Sigma Xi membership, researchers are provided with access to an international scientific network, research support programs, career development opportunities, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Furthermore, members gain the opportunity to advance their academic work by accessing esteemed scientific publications.
