Assistant. Prof. Merve Yıldırım, a Computer Engineering faculty Stuff at Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, won an award in the “Social Action” category, where she was a finalist at the 2025 Alumni Awards Ceremony of the British Council, the most important educational and cultural organization in England.

Dr. Yıldırım received her award from ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak and British Council Turkey Director Gill Caldicott at the ceremony held at the British Consulate General.

The University of Sussex, where Yıldırım received her master’s and doctorate degrees, also issued a congratulatory message at the ceremony, while Rector Cakmak, who spoke at the program, reminded Yıldırım that she had won the best instructor award last year and congratulated her for her contributions to education.
