Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Faculty of Science, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics Undergraduate Program was accredited for two years.

The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Curriculums of Faculties of Science, Letters, Science-Literature, Language and History-Geography (FEDEK), which carries out its activities with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the quality of the programs by carrying out accreditation, evaluation and information studies for the curricula, accredited the Undergraduate Program of the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department of the Faculty of Science of ETU for two years.

The Molecular Biology and Genetics Undergraduate Program, which was subjected to general evaluation by FEDEK for the first time in the 2024 evaluation process, was entitled to be accredited between April 11, 2025 and September 30, 2027 as a result of the examinations.

Making an assessment on the subject, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak drew attention to the fact that the Molecular Biology and Genetics Undergraduate Program is the first program to be accredited within the Faculty of Science and said: “Our Molecular Biology and Genetics Undergraduate Program was subjected to a general evaluation by FEDEK for the first time in the 2024 evaluation process and was accredited for two years. We are pleased to have started to reap the fruits of the accreditation processes we have initiated throughout our university. We also expect positive results for our other programs whose application processes are ongoing in the upcoming period. On this occasion, I wholeheartedly congratulate all our academic and administrative staff who contributed to the accreditation process of the Molecular Biology and Genetics Undergraduate Program.”
