The III. Social Responsibility School, organized by the Social Contribution and Equality
Policies Coordination Office of Erzurum Technical University (ETU) between April 13–15,
2026, has been completed following a training program conducted in the fields of social
responsibility, volunteering, and project development.
The program aimed to enhance participants’ skills in developing social responsibility projects,
improve their command of project writing processes, and raise awareness about various
support mechanisms. Many students from ETU and Atatürk University participated in the
program. The training was delivered by ETU academics Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Sena Türko,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Başkan, Dr. Adem Kantar, Lecturer Eren Özbek, and Research
Assistant Dr. Serap Gün, along with Dr. Mehmet Emin Daş, Youth Leader from the Youth
Office of the Erzurum Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports.
During the three-day program, participants had the opportunity to gain comprehensive
knowledge on social responsibility awareness, volunteering activities, UNIDES projects,
European Union projects, TUBITAK projects, entrepreneurship, KOSGEB supports, project
preparation processes, and student-led social responsibility projects carried out at ETU.
