The Spring Festival, organized under the leadership of the Department of Health, Culture, and
Sports at Erzurum Technical University (ETU), brought students together for two days of
sports, culture, art, and entertainment activities. The festival, which witnessed colorful scenes
across the campus, allowed students to both relieve the fatigue of the academic year and enjoy
their time through social activities.
Held on June 11-12 at various locations across the campus, particularly at the Rectorate
Square, the events attracted great interest from ETU students. Activities organized within the
scope of the festival, including an on-campus run, traditional sports demonstrations, folk
dances, quiz competitions, sports activities, and various games, provided participants with
joyful moments. Throughout the day, student clubs also contributed to the festival with the
stands they set up and the activities they organized.
Cultural and Social Highlights
Traditional Shows: Mounted archery, the Ottoman military band (mehter), and folk
dance performances reflecting traditional Turkish culture received great acclaim.
Concerts and Music: Concerts and music programs were held with the intense
participation of students.
Festival Atmosphere: The events effectively transformed the campus into a festival
ground, offering students the opportunity to have fun, socialize, and gather
unforgettable memories after a demanding academic period.
