A cooperation protocol was signed between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and Georgian University and Samtskhe-Javakheti State University.

In line with its internationalization vision, ETU signed a protocol with Samtskhe-Javakheti State University and Georgian University in neighboring Georgia, adding a new one to its cooperation with its stakeholders abroad.

Within the scope of the signed protocol, an agreement was reached on student and academic mobility between the institutions, scientific meetings, joint research commissions, academic publications, promotion of universities in the relevant country and the realization of Foreign Student Exams (YÖS).

Commenting on the issue, ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak expressed his satisfaction with the agreement: "In 2023, we made many contacts abroad and signed important collaborations. Such collaborations are very beneficial for our academicians and students not only in scientific sense but also in social and cultural sense. On this occasion, we would like to thank our Director of Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER), Assisst. Prof. Sümeyra Alan and the valuable administrators of the universities we are in contact with, and I wish the agreement to be beneficial."
