A handover ceremony was held at Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Vice-Chancellor and Secretary General positions.

President of ETU Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, ETU management and heads of departments have taken part in the ceremony held in the Office of the President Senate Hall.

President Bülent Çakmak, speaking at the ceremony, has stated that positions and status could be changed and has said, “I sincerely thank our vice-chancellors and our secretary general for the services they have given to our university so far. I wish success to our new colleagues who have took over the task," he said.

After Rector Çakmak's speech, Prof. Dr. İrfan Kaymaz, Prof. Dr. Birol Soysal and Prof. Dr. Murat Küçükuğurlu who served as the Vice-Chancellors have handed over their duties to Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, and the faculty member Ceren Sultan Elmalı affiliated with the Faculty of Science while Secretary General  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuba Yetim handed over her duty to the faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.

The ceremony has ended with the presentation of a plaque by President Çakmak.
