Erzurum Technical University (ETU) has continued its consistent rise in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2025–2026 Türkiye rankings, achieving notable rise in both overall and subcategories.
According to the 2025–2026 data released by URAP, ETU ranked 67th among 198 universities in Türkiye. In the category of public universities, it placed 54th among 125 higher education institutions.
In the evaluation according to the year of establishment, ETU ranked 23rd among 126 universities founded after 2000, while in the list based on student population, it placed 7th among 53 universities with fewer than 6,000 students. Additionally, among 87 universities without a medical faculty, ETU secured the 17th position, also confirming its academic performance across various categories.
Commenting on the URAP results, Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak stated that the outcomes align with the university’s growth and development goals:

With our scientific productivity, research capacity, and innovative approach, we have achieved a remarkable position in a short time.
