A graduation program was organized for international students who successfully completed
their education at Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Turkish Language Teaching
Application and Research Center (TÖMER).
The program, held at the ETU Rectorate Meeting Hall, was attended by ETU Rector Prof. Dr.
Bülent Çakmak, TÖMER Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sümeyra Alan, academics, and students.
Culture and Internationalization Vision
Speaking at the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak expressed his pleasure in sharing
the graduation joy of students who came from different countries to receive Turkish language
education at ETU. Noting that TÖMER supports the university's internationalization vision,
Rector Çakmak stated that the language learning process also contributes to cultural
interaction and the development of mutual understanding.
Emphasizing that international students make significant contributions to the cultural richness
of the university, Çakmak expressed his belief that the students who completed their
education within TÖMER will achieve important successes in their future academic and
professional lives, and congratulated the graduates.
Presentation of Diplomas
Following the speeches, diplomas were presented to the students who successfully completed
their education at TÖMER. The program concluded after a souvenir photo was taken with the
graduating students.
