ETU Shares in the TEKNOFEST Excitement

Erzurum Technical University (ETU) took its place at TEKNOFEST, the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, once again this year.

Held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport from September 17–21, 2025, the festival brings together millions of visitors interested in technology. ETÜ's stand, part of the massive event organized as part of the National Technology Initiative, is attracting significant interest from visitors.

As part of the festival, student teams participating in competitions under the ETU Technology Teams Coordination Unit will showcase the projects they developed, while the MUCITPARK Science and Idea Workshop will make science fun for children and young people with science, woodworking, hands-on experimentation, and virtual reality workshops.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, who attended the festival on-site, stated that TEKNOFEST is a strategic platform that builds Türkiye's future, saying, “TEKNOFEST is a very important organization that keeps our young people's interest in technology alive and encourages them to produce and think. As ETU, we are delighted to be a part of the TEKNOFEST excitement again this year. Our booth displays projects prepared with great dedication by our students. I believe these projects are invaluable because they demonstrate our students' teamwork and problem-solving skills and put their engineering knowledge into practice. Furthermore, our MUCİTPARK Science and Idea Workshop became a center of attention at the festival with its hands-on activities that allow children and young people to discover the fun side of science. We believe this event is of great value in increasing young people's interest in science and promoting a culture of project development. At ETU, we have always supported our students throughout this process and will continue to do so. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to organizing the festival.”
