Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Faculty of Health Sciences Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department organized a special program for children with special needs on the occasion of the International Week of People with Disabilities on 10-16 May.

In the Prof. Dr. Muammer Yaylalı conference hall , the event was held under the slogan "Love Overcomes Barriers". ETU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, academicians, students, students of  Degisim Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, and their families attended the event.

Vice Rector Elmalı, speaking at the program organized to draw attention to the difficulties experienced by individuals with special needs and to increase societal sensitivity, emphasized that ensuring the full and equal participation of them in society is the responsibility of everyone.

The program, where children read poems, theater shows were performed, and the ETU Music Club sang songs, was colorful with various activities, allowing children and their families to enjoy a good time together.
