The Northeast Anatolia Regional Career Fair (KUDAKAF’26), hosted by Atatürk University in partnership with Erzurum Technical University (ETU), Ardahan University, Bingöl University, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, and Kafkas University, has officially opened.

The opening ceremony, held at the Erzurum Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Fair Center, was attended by the rectors of the partner universities, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security Prof. Dr. Lutfihak Alpkan, and the city's administrative and civil authorities. Organized under the slogan “Empower Your Career,” the fair aims to provide significant opportunities in employment, career development, and entrepreneurship by bringing students, graduates, and industry representatives together on the same platform.

ETU has taken its place at KUDAKAF’26, drawing intense interest from participants with its dedicated booths. The university is showcasing projects and activities from the Kristal Entrepreneurship Center, the High Technology Application and Research Center (YÜTAM), and the Career Planning Application and Research Center. Following the opening ceremony, the ETU stand was visited by Deputy Minister Prof. Dr. Lutfihak Alpkan and the accompanying protocol delegation. ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak accompanied the delegation and provided information regarding the university's ongoing activities.

Rector Çakmak, who visited the stands and met with students and industry representatives, stated that KUDAKAF’26 is a vital platform for the career planning of young people. He noted that such organizations strengthen university-industry cooperation and allow students to establish direct contact with the business world.

Prof. Dr. Çakmak further emphasized that regional career fairs are not merely employment-oriented events but are strategic organizations that strengthen the country’s human capital and reveal the potential of its youth.
