Erzurum Technical University (ETU) participated in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) 2025 Fair, one of the largest international education events in Europe.
Organized this year with the themes of internationalization, exchange programs, sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation to foster international academic collaboration and enhance experience sharing, EAIE 2025 brought together more than 7,000 participants from around the world. ETU was among 95 universities from Turkey participating in the fair, spearheaded by the Turkish National Agency.
Attending the fair held at the Svenska Mässan Congress Center in Gothenburg, Sweden, from September 9–12, 2025, on behalf of ETU, Foreign Relations Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Eyüphan Manay met with representatives of numerous universities and international organizations, making important contacts regarding joint projects, collaborations, and student and faculty mobility.
Commenting on the fair, Prof. Dr. Eyüphan Manay stated that EAIE 2025 offers significant opportunities to develop international collaborations, saying, “At ETÜ, we view internationalization as a fundamental element of our institutional development. In this regard, EAIE 2025 allowed us to establish new connections with higher education institutions from different countries and further strengthen our existing collaborations. We established productive contacts with the institutions we met in areas such as student and academic staff mobility, joint research projects, and dual degree programs. We believe that such international events are invaluable in increasing our university's global visibility.”
