A cooperation protocol was signed between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and Nakhchivan State University to establish a dual degree master's program in Mathematics.

ETU Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı and Prof. Dr. Naim Ürkmez, Nakhchivan State University Rector Prof. Dr. Elbrus Isayev, and senior executives attended the signing ceremony held in Nakhchivan.

Within the scope of the signed protocol, agreements were reached on issues such as the establishment of a dual-degree master's program in mathematics, preparation of a common curriculum, student and academic exchange, research projects, joint thesis consultancy, academic events and cultural collaborations.

Speaking after the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı stated that the partnership with Nakhchivan State University will offer significant opportunities both academically and culturally, and that it will make strong contributions to the training of qualified human resources, especially in postgraduate education.

Nakhchivan State University Rector Prof. Dr. Elbrus Isayev emphasized that the cooperation is an important step that brings together the potential of both universities, and that the agreement will contribute to students, academics, and scientific production.

Following the meetings, the delegations inspected university units and evaluated possible joint work opportunities.
