A cooperation protocol was signed between Erzurum Technical University (ETU) and Bonab
University in Iran to develop scientific and academic cooperation.
The signing ceremony, held in the Rectorate Meeting Hall, was attended by ETU Rector Prof.
Dr. Bülent Çakmak and Bonab University Rector Prof. Dr. Behzad Binesh, as well as senior
executives from both universities.
Within the scope of the protocol, an agreement was reached to carry out cooperation in
areas such as academic and staff exchange, undergraduate and graduate student mobility,
sharing of academic information and materials, joint research projects and publications,
participation in academic meetings and organization of joint events.
Following the signing ceremony, Rector Çakmak hosted the Bonab University delegation at
the university's innovation centers, the High Technology Application and Research Center
(YUTAM) and the Crystal Entrepreneurship Center, and provided information about the
ongoing studies, projects, and research activities.
Sharing his views on the protocol, Rector Çakmak stated that the collaboration initiated with
Bonab University will create new opportunities in terms of both academic and scientific
productivity, saying, "This agreement will create a basis that will strengthen joint
development and interaction in many areas, from education to research."
Bonab University President Prof. Dr. Behzad Binesh stated that the protocol, which brings
together the academic potential of the two universities, will provide significant opportunities
for students and researchers, and expressed his belief that the collaboration will produce
concrete results in a short time.
