Erzurum Technical University (ETU) lifted the double trophy at the Turkish Interuniversity Curling Championship.

Taking to the ice at the Turkish Curling Championship organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation at the Erzurum Yakutiye Curling Hall between February 11-13, the ETU Women's Team defeated Ataturk University in the finals and won the gold medal, while the Men's Team, who faced Ataturk University again in the finals, won the silver medal by finishing second on the podium.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, who followed the final matches on site, congratulated the athletes and said: “Our students return from every championship with cups and medals. We are proud of them. We try to be there for them to share both their excitement and happiness as long as our schedule allows. In addition, when it comes to winter sports, it is a separate source of pride for us that the teams of our city's two universities share the top. We won two cups today, just like yesterday. I congratulate our athletes and coaches and wish them continued success.”
