Institutional Accreditation Information Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak at Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ).

In addition to Rector Çakmak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Dumlu and managers of academic and administrative units attended the information meeting held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. 

Following the External Evaluation process that started in 2019, the Institutional Accreditation process started in 2023. In this context, the process so far was evaluated at the meeting held to evaluate the "planning, implementation, control and precaution" cycles in quality assurance, education-training, research-development, social contribution and management system processes.

Speaking at the meeting, Rector Çakmak drew attention to the importance of quality processes and said: We frequently meet with our academic and administrative staff to evaluate Institutional Accreditation studies. I especially congratulate our quality commission members for their devoted work so far. We aim to be accredited for 5 years at the end of the process and we are working intensively in this direction. As a requirement of the governance principle we have adopted, we hold meetings with you at certain periods and determine our strategies together. I believe that we will complete the process successfully and accredit our university. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your contributions and wish you success in your work," he said.

After Rector Çakmak's speech, Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ümit İncekara gave information about the issues on the commission agenda.

The meeting ended after discussing the issues on the commission's agenda.
