Erzurum Technical University (ETU) celebrated April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with a science festival.

Within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day events, the science festival organized at MNG Shopping and Living Center in cooperation with ETU Corporate Communication and Promotion Directorate Science Communication Office and MUCİTPARK Science and Idea Workshop was held with the participation of hundreds of children.

Organized to introduce children to science at an early age and increase their interest in science, hundreds of children participated in fun and educational workshops. Children had a great time in the fun world of science at the festival, where various activities were held, from chemical experiments to wood workshops, from solid-liquid experiments to slime making, from face painting to hand printing.

At the festival, in which ETU Promotion Club and ETU Volunteers Club also took part, university students made children happy with their applications that stimulated imagination, developed manual skills and encouraged scientific thinking.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, who attended the event, visited the workshops and took a close interest in the children. Rector Çakmak, who chatted with the little science enthusiasts, accompanied them in some activities and shared their excitement.
