Under the leadership of Assoc. Dr. Murat Turan, a faculty member of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Erzurum Technical University (ETU), the UEFA Turkey-Poland European Championship Futsal National Match will take place on December 17, 2024, at the ETU Sports Hall.

In a statement regarding the matter, Assoc. Dr. Turan mentioned that they entered an intense work process to meet the criteria set by UEFA and completed the necessary documents within a 40-day period to obtain the security certificate. He also expressed his gratitude to Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi and ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak for their support during this process.

Assoc. Dr. Turan stated, "None of the sports halls from Ankara to this side meet UEFA criteria, and we will experience a first at ETU."

The Rector of Erzurum Technical University, Prof. Dr. Bulent Cakmak, received Assoc. Dr. Murat Turan in his office and expressed his gratitude for his efforts.
