Erzurum Technical University (ETU) has successfully ranked in the top 20 in four areas in the “University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report” prepared by the Council of Higher Education.
The report, which is published annually since 2019, evaluates the activities of universities based on specific criteria under the categories of Education and Training, Research and Development, Projects and Publications, Internationalization, Sustainability, and Community Service and Social Responsibility. This year marks the publication of the sixth report.
In the Research and Development, Projects and Publications category, ETU ranked 5th among universities with the highest number of publications per faculty member published in national peer-reviewed journals, achieving a score of 0.637. Additionally, the university ranked 19th among institutions with the highest ratio of publications resulting from University-Sector Collaboration, with a score of 1.95. ETU also secured 20th place among universities with the highest citation rates for indexed publications, scoring 79.51. Furthermore, it was recognized as the second university showing consistent development in terms of the number of TUBITAK scholarships utilized.
