Donors and families of Erzurum City Archive (ERŞA), which was opened within Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ) in 2017, came together at the loyalty program held at ETÜ.
Individuals and families who were among the first donors of ERŞA, whose archive documents are preserved in the ETÜ Central Library and which also provides services in two mansions (Erzurum City Archive and Erzurum Culture and Art House) allocated by Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality next to Erzurum Castle, are at ETÜ. met at the loyalty program held.

Speaking at the opening of the program, ERŞA Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Küçükuğurlu stated that ERŞA is the common meeting point of the people of Erzurum and said: “Today, we are gathered here to come together with our fellow citizens who contributed to the establishment of our city archive and devoted their hearts to Erzurum. In particular, we would like to thank Naci Elmalı, who handed over his collection of Erzurum magazines to us, Doğan Hattatoğlu, who played an important role in the furnishing of our mansion and especially made the Erzurum City Model of the Ottoman Era, the late İlham Durmaz, who entrusted us with his stone models, and our esteemed teacher, Prof, who left us his archive of historical documents. . Dr. We wanted to show our loyalty to Ali Kurt. This accumulation shows the greatness of Erzurum. "Once again, I would like to thank everyone who showed their financial and moral support to ERŞA," he said.
Speaking at the program, Rector Çakmak stated that he was very happy to host the masters, artists and writers who add value to Erzurum, together with their families, at ETÜ and said: "When we saw you here, we realized once again how valuable the work we do is. ERŞA was established with your support. We see the reflection of the donations made to both our library and city archives from the feedback we receive from our visitors during the process. We hear so many good things that serving Erzurum and introducing the historical richness of our city to people is possible through you, our valuable donors. We are grateful to you in this sense. I wish God's mercy to our valuable elders who are not among us today and have passed away. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our valued guests, once again," he said.
The guests, who took the floor after Rector Çakmak, emphasized the importance of ERŞA for Erzurum and thanked ETÜ for the interest and concern shown to them.
The program ended with the signing of the donation minutes and the presentation of the plaque, followed by taking a souvenir photo.
