Program Definition

       In our program, the departments are under the title of Turkish Language and Literature, but in our program; it is envisaged to create four major disciplines: Modern Turkish Literature, Turkish Language, Old Turkish Literature, Turkish Folk Literature. Undergraduate education is planned as eight semesters in our program. In our program carried out as Formal and Evening Education, there are 8 lecturers and 4 research assistants in all fields of science.

       Job Opportunities

       Graduates of our department can work in libraries all around our country, in our eximious archives, Ministry of Culture, television and newspaper institutions, and work as lecturers in higher education institutions; they can be writers, editors and redacteurs in newspapers and magazines, and can be appointed as Turkish Language and Literature teachers within the Ministry of National Education.
