Erzurum Technical University Ethics Committee's inspection area covers;

-  All kinds of scientific research and studies carried out by university of members, thesis made during graduate education,  scientific research and development projects supported by university funds and carried out at the university units, research ethics issues related to scientific meetings and events held within the university,

-  Scientific ethical issues about scientific papers such as book, brochure, research, review article, letter to editor, case presentation, report presented at scientific events, thesis, scientific publications produced from projects, congress, symposium including domestic and foreign origin; published or about to be published in written, printed and electronic environment which are prepared by university members,

- All kinds of surveys, observations, non-invasive experimental and semi-experimental studies to be conducted by university members with human participants in faculties, institutes and centres of our university, research ethics issues about scientific research and  the following non-invasive issues in the health sciences;

* Survey work,

* File and retrospective screenings and archive video recordings made using similar observational studies,

* Studies made by biochemistry, microbiology, pathology and radiology collection materials such as blood, urine, tissue, image,

* Studies with materials obtained in routine tests and treatment,

* The cells and tissue culture studies,

* Research on the body physiology such as exercise,

* Studies based on anthropometric measurements,

* Evaluation studies of lifestyle habits,

* All the research carried out without direct human intervention of a physician,

- The ethical violations made in studies related to ecology and subjects to be used in biomedical research,

-  The evaluation of academic ethics issues related to organizations of university members who benefit or apply to benefit from the support of universities and other institutions and organizations,

-  The ethical issues regarding the relationship between different departments of the university employees and university stakeholders,

-  The ethical issues that arise in the teaching-learning process at the university,

-  The ethical issues that arise in the process of the university community service,

-  Ethics Committee structure, tasks and ways of working,

-  Issues related to application to Ethics Committee and evaluation process.
