Ministry of Industry and Technology Specialization Programs

In order to train the qualified human resources needed in line with our country's National Technology Move studies, the Ministry of Industry and Technology has implemented training programs in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Driving Technologies and Chip Design.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, 5,401 applications were received for the Artificial Intelligence Specialization Program, and among the 720 students accepted to basic education, a total of 500 students received specialist training, 120 synchronously and 380 asynchronously, in line with their course participation and exam success. In the 2024-2025 academic year, training programs developed in 3 focus areas, namely Autonomous Driving Technologies and Chip Design Specialization Programs, will be implemented along with the Artificial Intelligence Specialization Program.

In the Artificial Intelligence focus area , Data Processing and Integration Expertise Training will be provided with the partnership of Arçelik, Baykar, Cezeri, Havelsan, Huawei, Tübitak; in the Autonomous Driving Technologies focus area, Autonomous System Development Expertise Training will be provided with the partnership of Aselsan, AVL, Baykar, Fev Turkey, Ford, Togg, Tübitak; in the Chip Design focus area, Digital Design and Verification Expertise Training will be provided with the partnership of Ankasys, Electra IC, Elevation, Tütel, Yongatek .

The training programs are planned as 5 weeks of basic training and 25 to 30 weeks of specialized training for 3rd and 4th year students of relevant departments of universities (see: mth.tc/YtoX)   . The course curriculum will be presented to students by stakeholder companies within the framework of the specified program titles.

Throughout the program, students will prepare an interim project and a graduation project within the scope of their education. At the same time, our students will be provided with mentoring support by program stakeholders throughout the process. Students who successfully complete the program will be provided with internship opportunities by the companies where they received training.
