Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak attended the events organized to mark the 103rd anniversary of Erzurum's liberation from enemy invasion.

The program, held in front of the Atatürk Monument in Havuzbaşı, was attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, as well as the city's administrative, bureaucracy, military, and judicial officials.

At the ceremony, which started after a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, poems were read, describing the meaning and importance of the day. The program ended with the performance of Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mehteran Team.
