Prof. Dr. Güven TURGUT, a faculty member of our Faculty's Department of Basic Sciences, was included in the list, which is compiled annually by Stanford University and ranks the world's most influential scientists.

It was published by Elsevier, a publishing company based in the Netherlands, which ranks the world's most influential scientists every year, as a result of the evaluations made by Prof. Dr. John PA IOANNIDIS and his research team from Stanford University.

Scientists who qualified for two different categories as "Career-Long Impact" and "Annual Impact" were determined based on academic performance such as the number of qualified publications, the impact of the journal in which the publications were published, the number of patents, the number of citations, h-index, hm-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles and the impact of the journal in which they were published.

In the list prepared by taking into account the work done in 2023, our faculty member Prof. Dr. Güven Turgut was included in the "Annual Impact" category.
