Reprimand Message
The date of April 24, 1915 is the date when the measures taken within the framework of the laws were implemented in order to eliminate the pressure of the Armenian defenders on both the Turkish people and the Armenian people. It is unacceptable for any political power focus, including the US President, to put political pressure on Turkey by distorting this fact and forming a basis for the so-called genocide allegations. The Republic of Turkey is a state that is at peace with its history, its archives are open and that does not separate its citizens on ethnic grounds. For centuries, the Turkish nation has embraced the Armenian people with its deep tolerance, as it did other peoples. It is respectfully announced to the public.
