The project titled “UAV1 Commercial Pilot and Trainer Training” prepared in cooperation with Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Continuing Education Application and Research Centre (ETUSEM) and the Corporate Communications and Promotion Directorate (KITD), was entitled to receive support within the scope of the Northeast Anatolian Development Agency (KUDAKA) Technical Assistance Programme.

First, basic training and then the training of the trainers will be provided for the team consisting of the ETUSEM and KITD staff for the "UAV1 Commercial Pilot and Trainer Training" project, which was entitled to receive support within the scope of KUDAKA's 2021 Technical Assistance Programme 2nd Term Applications and the piloting of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Drone) designed for special purposes and capable of taking off or landing from any area, remote-controlled, equipped with semi/full automatic flight.

With the completion of the project carried out by Director of ETUSEM Assis. Prof. Dr. Ahmet İlker Akbaba it is aimed that ETUSEM will become the Authorized Training Institution of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation and provide online or face-to-face, theoretical and practical UAV0/UAV1 trainings to participants aged 18 and over across Turkey.
