Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak held talks with Murat Urkuç, the Chairman of Erzurum Organized Industrial Zone, in OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, OSTIM Chairman of the Board Orhan Aydın gave information to his guests about the work done within OSTIM. Stating that industries are at the top of the places where knowledge turns into value, Aydın said: “It was something that we longed for university-industry cooperation. This association, which has been increasing in recent years, positively reflects on the development of the country.On this occasion, I would like to express once again that we will support all kinds of cooperation with ETÜ until the end ”.

Emphasizing the importance of joint working areas with internal and external stakeholders for the development of universities, Rector Bülent Çakmak stated that ETU will continue to contribute to the higher education of the country with its qualified staff and strong infrastructure and stated that they will be happy to support any kind of work to be done.By pointing out that OSTIM is not only an important industrial area for Ankara but it is also important for all Turkey, Rector Bülent Çakmak shared information with the OSTİM delegation about the work carried out within ETÜ.
