Erzurum Technical University (ETU) Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak continues consultation meetings with the public, private sector, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in order to strengthen the cooperation.
In this context; ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak and ETÜ Continuing Education Application and Research Center (ETÜSEM) Director Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet İlker Akbaba firstly hosted Erzurum Provincial Director of Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) within the scope of "ETÜSEM - Public Sector / Private Sector / NGO Consultation Meetings". In the meeting held at the office of the Rector, ideas were exchanged mutually in order to bring together public and private institutions on a common ground.

Later on, Rector Bülent Çakmak and ETÜSEM Director Ahmet Akbaba who visited Lütfü Yücelik, President of Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ETSO) talked about the activities of ETÜSEM, the advisory board to be established within the center and the possible collaborations.
Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak pointed out the importance of university-industry cooperation and stated that they made an effort to carry out their work in this context. Rector Prof. Dr. Çakmak said, “As ETÜ, we are making great efforts to have high technology investments in our city. We are making a sincere effort to settle this culture in the city. In this sense, I thank ETSO Chairman Lütfü Yücelik and his team for their joint work with ETÜ, and wish them success”.
İŞKUR Erzurum Provincial Directorate Visited
Finally, the delegation visited the Labor and Employment Agency (İŞKUR) Erzurum Provincial Director Abdulkadir Mutlu. Expressing that he is very pleased to host Rector Bülent Çakmak and ETÜSEM Director Ahmet Akbaba, Mutlu talked about the importance of regional-oriented work in public-university-industry cooperation and exchanged views on the joint work that can be done with his guests.
Rector Bülent Çakmak said: “As Erzurum Technical University, we have worked with our stakeholders and continue to work, acting in common sense. I believe that our efforts will continue and we will continue to succeed together for our common future”.
