Erzurum Technical University (ETÜ) gave various gifts to its academic and administrative female staff on the occasion of 8 March International Women's Day.
ETU, which does not forget its female employees, organized a series of events on March 8, International Women's Day. In this context, Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak and General Secretary Assoc. Dr. Tuba Yetim visited the women staff of ETU in their offices and celebrated the 8th of March, International Women's Day, and presented gifts based on the meaning and importance of the day.
Making a statement after the event, General Secretary Assoc. Dr. Tuba Yetim emphasized that March 8 is a symbolic day and that women should see the value they deserve every day, not just one day. I congratulate the 8th of March, International Women's Day, and thank all my colleagues who contributed to the organization of the event”.
Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak said: "I congratulate the 8th of March, International Women's Day of all women who beautify the world with their love, especially the mothers and wives of our martyrs and veterans, and present my love and respect."
Rector Bülent Çakmak thanked those who contributed to the event organized for women personnel working under the roof of ETÜ and said, "I condemn all kinds of physical or psychological violence against women, who play the most important role in the construction of social life and the future, on the occasion of 8 March International Women's Day."
