"5th Applied Mathematics and Engineering Days" Program was organized. (03-02.2023)

5th Applied Mathematics and Engineering Days, hosted by the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Science of our university, organized in cooperation with Fırat University, Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, İnönü University, Harran University, Ordu University, Azerbaijan University and Final International University, 01-03 February It was held in the Conference Hall of our Faculty on 2023.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih Yetim, Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı and many academicians and graduate students attended.

Making the opening speech of the program, Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ercan Çelik stated that the aim of the program is to bring together academicians and academician candidates to exchange ideas, information and experience and that the program will be in accordance with its purpose, and thanked everyone who contributed.

prof. Dr. Speaking after Çelik, Vice Rector and Dean of our Faculty Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı expressed her pleasure in hosting the program and thanked everyone who contributed, especially our Rector, who provided all kinds of opportunities in the organization of the workshop.

Noting that current mathematics and engineering issues will be discussed in the workshop, our University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, on the other hand, stated that he believed that productive outputs would be achieved at the end of the program: “As ETU, it supports multidisciplinary studies in order to properly associate its scientific activities and mission with our country's preferences and priorities in the development path, and in this direction, a study in the field of biomathematics is carried out with the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department in our Mathematics Department. At the same time, it is supported by TÜBİTAK 1001 project support, and it is among the targets of studies on artificial intelligence and cryptology with the Computer Engineering and Electrical-Electronics Engineering Departments in the Faculty of Engineering,

Within the scope of the 3-day program, young researchers learned about new approaches in many fields, from analytical and numerical solutions of differential equations to digital fluid dynamics and heat transfer, from mathematical biology and applications to artificial intelligence and cryptology applications from expert academics.
