The GENAKTÜEL Club, operating within our faculty, has been granted the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports' ÜNİDES (University Student Societies Cooperation and Support Program) with its project "2nd National Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress", which brings together university students from different departments in our country with the participation of expert scientists in their fields.
With this congress, which will be hosted by our Faculty for the second time on May 2-3, 2025, we aim to increase scientific knowledge by sharing current developments, research and innovations in the field of molecular biology and genetics among the participants. This project will encourage interaction between students, academics and researchers, paving the way for collaborative projects and research opportunities. It will also support the career development of young researchers and students by allowing them to venture out.
The project will be carried out under the coordination of Asiye REHYAN, a student at our faculty's Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and under the consultancy of Dr. Lecturer Ayşe Gül KASAPOĞLU. In addition to the fact that expert scientists will share their knowledge and experience with the participants, students will have the opportunity to share their research results, gain recognition in the academic community, receive feedback and develop their communication skills by presenting their prepared papers and posters.
This event will contribute to university students developing their scientific thinking skills, creating a solid roadmap for their academic careers, and advancing in the light of science. We would like to thank all our academics and students who contributed to this valuable organization that allows young people to shape the future with science, and wish them success.
