The project titled " BicPar: An Open Source R Package Providing Multi-Objective Parameter Optimization for Binary Clustering Algorithms in Gene Expression Data," led by Dr. Ahmet Kocatürk, a faculty member of the Department of Mathematics at our faculty, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002-A Rapid Support Module. 

Within the scope of this project, an open-source R software package will be developed that enables the statistical determination of the parameters required for accurate results from clustering algorithms used in data analysis, using multi-objective optimization and multi-criteria decision-making methods. The goal is to make this statistical software available to researchers free of charge.
