AIM OF THE UNIT:

In order to create a question pool in the exams to be held by our Directorate and to ensure that all exams are standard;

The Testing Unit was established and it aims to;

  • To follow a modular exam system to track the learning process of students and meet their language learning needs
  • To prepare and encourage the preparation of exams by taking into account the assessment and evaluation tools and learning outcomes.
  • Aiming to evaluate the acquisition of testing and evaluation tools, four main skills and sub-skills
  • Use the results of tests and assessment tools to give students feedback on their learning process. 

DUTY FLOW CHART AND OPERATION


STAGE 1
Exams are prepared by the instructor within the course content and curriculum organized by the Assessment and Evaluation Unit and the Directorate.

STAGE 2
The prepared exams are edited by the head of the Assessment Unit and sent to the other members of the Assessment Unit for reading and editing.

STAGE 3
Measurement and Evaluation Unit members control and organize the exams prepared by taking into account the content, form, exam and test preparation directive.

STAGE 4
After the exams are checked and edited, if they are suitable for printing, they are printed under the control of the head of the Assessment and Evaluation Unit, if not, they are sent back to the instructor for corrections.

The above-mentioned procedure in the workflow chart is applied to all exams, quizzes, projects, homework assignments, etc. that are conducted by the School of Foreign Languages.
