Applications for Erasmus+ 2025 and 2026 Projects – Student Study and Traineeship Mobility Activities

Applications for study mobility for the 2026–2027 Spring Semester and traineeship mobility for the 2026–2027 Summer Period under the Erasmus+ projects 2025-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000306711 and 2026-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000404531 will be accepted as of 07/10/2026. The application deadline is 22/10/2026 (until 23:59).

The basic eligibility requirements for application are as follows:

  • Being a full-time registered student at Erzurum Technical University

  • Having a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.20/4.00 for undergraduate students and 2.50/4.00 for graduate students

  • For first-year undergraduate students whose transcripts have not yet been issued at the time of application, having a minimum high school graduation grade of 75/100

23 October 2026: Announcement of the Evaluation Results and the List of Candidates Eligible to Take the Foreign Language Examination

24 October 2026: Foreign Language Examination

The examination place and time will be announced to candidates through the announcement to be published on the homepage of the School of Foreign Languages, together with the examination entry lists. 27 October – 1 November 2026: Appeals against Foreign Language Examination Results

3 November 2026: Announcement of Final Results

3–13 November 2026: Withdrawal Period
(Students who are entitled to participate in the mobility activity with a grant but wish to waive their entitlement must complete the Withdrawal Petition and submit it to the International Relations Office by 13 November 2026. If the withdrawal petition is not submitted or delivered by this date, 10 points will be deducted from the student's score in their applications for the next student selection process.)

Evaluation Criteria

  • Obtaining at least 55 points in the Foreign Language Examination

  • The final foreign language score is calculated by taking 80% of the written examination score and 20% of the oral examination score.

  • The ranking score is calculated by taking 50% of the final foreign language score and 50% of the CGPA.

  • Candidates are ranked according to their scores, starting from the highest score, within the quotas allocated to the respective departments.

  • Considering the total quota, the number of students who will participate in the activity with a grant will be determined according to the final ranking within each department. The stated total quota will be distributed equally among the departments.

  • Students who are included in the final ranking and meet the minimum score requirement will be eligible to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility activity.

  • Students entitled to participate in the activity with a grant will be allocated to departments according to the total grant amount allocated to our institution for the relevant project. Principal and reserve candidates will be determined for grant-supported mobility. Candidates who meet the required score but are not entitled to participate with a grant may participate in the activity without a grant.

The following additional criteria will also be taken into consideration:

a) Students with disabilities (provided that the disability is officially documented): +10 points

b) Children of martyrs and veterans: +15 points

c) Previous participation in Erasmus+ mobility (for each mobility activity at the same level of education): -10 points

d) Participating in mobility in the country of which the student is a citizen: -10 points

e) Students for whom a protection, care, or accommodation decision has been issued under Law No. 2828 on Social Services and Law No. 5395 on Child Protection: +10 points

f) Applying simultaneously for both types of mobility (the 10-point deduction will be applied to the mobility type preferred by the student): -10 points

g) For traineeship applications, submitting an acceptance letter from the host institution/company at the time of application: +10 points

h) Students themselves or their first-degree relatives who have received disaster victim assistance from AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) (Have you or any of your first-degree relatives received disaster victim assistance from AFAD?): +10 points

ı) Students enrolled in a double major programme may apply for mobility from only one major programme during the same application period.
