GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE APPLICATION PROCESS
The procedures and processes related to the Integrated Master's Program will be carried out in accordance with the following provisions:
- The quota for the integrated master's program is determined by the Senate upon the recommendation of the institute's board. Undergraduate students who meet the necessary academic requirements are eligible to enroll in the integrated master's program.
- Students enrolled in the integrated master's program are required to take at least one course during their undergraduate studies. A maximum of two master's courses may be taken per semester. These courses are shown on a separate transcript and do not contribute to the undergraduate GPA.
- Students enrolled in a double major program can only apply to the integrated master's program designated for their undergraduate program. Students enrolled in a double major program can only apply to the integrated master's program designated for their major program.
- Students enrolled in the International Joint Undergraduate Program cannot apply to the integrated master's program due to the program's continuation requirements.
- To be able to definitively enroll in the integrated master's program after graduating from undergraduate programs, students must have a GPA of at least 3.00 and meet the requirements (ALES score, etc.) in effect at the time of application. Otherwise, they cannot definitively enroll in the master's program.
- Students are required to complete their undergraduate program in eight semesters. They can register definitively at the institute in the first semester following their undergraduate graduation; they cannot register in subsequent semesters.
- The success evaluation of courses taken in the integrated master's program is carried out according to the Graduate Education and Training Regulations. Successfully completed courses are counted towards the course load of the registered master's program.
- Students wishing to complete the integrated master's program must apply to the relevant institute.
Application Requirements
- Being at the beginning of the seventh semester in undergraduate studies,
- Having an Academic Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher.
- Having successfully completed all courses in the previous semester(s) of undergraduate education,
Evaluation of Applications
Applications are ranked according to GPA. In case of equal GPAs, priority is given to the applicant with the higher central placement score.
Application Procedure
- Applications will be accepted through the Integrated Master's module located on the Student Information Screen.
- Applications submitted in person or by mail will not be accepted.
