Preparatory Program Placement Test Announcement

The Preparatory Program Placement Test, organized by Erzurum Technical University School of Foreign Languages, will be held to determine the language proficiency levels of preparatory class students for the 2025-2026 academic year.

📍 Venue: Faculty of Engineering, Computer Laboratories 1 and 3

Exam Content:

• Listening

• Reading

• Writing

Note: Students are required to bring their personal headphones for the Listening section.

Participation:
No separate application or registration is required to take the exam. Students are only expected to be present in the designated classrooms at the specified time.

Important Information:
For students of the Department of English Language and Literature and the Department of Computer Engineering, where the medium of instruction is 100% English, passing the Preparatory Exemption Exam is mandatory. Students who fail must complete the preparatory program.

Attendance in the Placement Test is compulsory for all preparatory class students. Those who do not attend will automatically be placed in the lowest-level classes.
