The inter-unit Futsal Tournament organized within the scope of the 100th Anniversary of our Republic activities has ended.

In the 100th Anniversary Futsal Tournament held at ETU Indoor Sports Hall between November 6-20 under the leadership of our faculty, 8 teams established by the faculty and unit staff fought fiercely.

ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dumlu, Dean Prof. Dr. Birol Soysal, academicians, students and families watched the final of the tournament organized to reinforce the sense of unity and solidarity on the 100th anniversary of our Republic.

In the final of the tournament, where a total of 17 matches were played in 2 groups, our Faculty and the Institute of Health Sciences faced each other. Our Faculty, which won the breathtaking struggle with a score of 9-5, won the 1st place trophy. In the 3rd place match, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture defeated its rival Security Unit 4-3 and won the cup.

Speaking at the cup ceremony held after the competitions, our Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak stated that the matches were completed in a gentlemanly manner, congratulated all the teams participating in the tournament and lifted the 1st place cup together with the Faculty of Sports Sciences Team.
