The "I. Erzurum Science High Schools Symposium", hosted by Erzurum Technical University, began with great enthusiasm and participation. In the symposium, Erzurum Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı, Erzurum Provincial Director of National Education Yakup Yıldız, Erzurum Technical University Faculty of Science Dean Prof. Dr. Umit Incekara, Yakutiye District Director of National Education Abdurrahman Gazioglu, and Oltu District Director of National Education Ilhami Shahin Kara were present in the protocol.

The Chairman of the Symposium’s Organizing Committee, Prof. Dr. Umit Ince Kara, stated in his opening speech: "The purpose of this symposium is to establish a bridge between high schools and universities and to encourage mutual interaction. The main goal of this program, which takes place with the active participation of students, is to introduce students to university life and provide them with information about universities. Following the results achieved this year, it is aimed to conduct more comprehensive studies at the regional level in the coming years and to establish an institutional platform at the national level.

Erzurum Provincial Director of National Education Yakup Yıldız, in his motivational speech, said to the students: "Never give up dreaming. You will develop and build this country with your dreams," offering a hopeful perspective for the future.

Erzurum Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan Elmalı expressed her gratitude to the provincial and district directors of national education who supported the symposium and everyone involved in the organization, stating that the greatest thanks are to the students.

With the participation of over 400 registered students, teachers, and principals, there is great interest in the symposium, which will last for 2 days. The event, where over 100 oral presentations will take place, provides an important opportunity for students to gain experience and exchange knowledge.
